“If you want the fries, eat the damn fries.”
For the record, that wasn’t my only takeaway from the MNCPA webinar, Finding a Healthy Balance: Nutrition Know-How for CPAs. But I’d be lying to you if I said it didn’t hit.
Sure, it’s funny. But it also makes a lot of sense. Taking a balanced approach to what I eat means I can sometimes get the fries instead of the salad — and that’s awesome.
More than 240 MNCPA members tuned in to this free CPE webinar led by CPA-turned-nutrition coach Heather Buda. She encouraged attendees to dump the “all-or-nothing” mentality and instead focus on building healthy, sustainable habits.
One pro tip she recommends is planning and prepping meals for the week. Can’t wrap your head around a whole week’s worth of meals? Me neither. But I can get a week’s worth of chopping out of the way.
